The first story has to do with how all studednts are not good at every discipline and it is unfair to test them with that idea in mind. This is also why standardized tests are a poor way of testing and judging student's abilities. The second article is about how technology is advancing in the schools. This is a good thing because studetns are able to do more and get work done more easily. But, if students rely too heavily on technology they can lose their reading or other abilities. The third piece is about what college is really like. It is a very accurate depiction of what college is made out to be and what college is really like. Some people come to college with unrealistic beliefs of what it will be like and are disappointed when they realized it is not really that way.
